  Friday December 5th 2014. I had a bilateral bone-ectomy to correct claw toes. The surgery was not possible until now, due to my lack of insurance. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Complete now thanks to Obama-care. For the surgery's, I preferred to remain conscious so I elected to get a spinal local, so I was aware through the entire procedure. The surgical staff was amazing, diligent, redundant and comforting. It took Dr. Tyner about 22 minutes per foot to make the incisions and remove the bone. Total time was about 45 minutes on the procedure. I was in no pain and was made comfortable with warm blankets and music. I have commonly had worse experiences at the dentist office. The pain medication prescribed was adequate, and post-op I had no complications. I wright this 2 weeks after the procedures and the stitches have been removed, there is no bruising and I am walking in my own shoes without the aid of inserts or pads or bandages. My toes are now straight! I found Dr. Tyner to be soft spoken and to understate himself. The results I received are on the top end of best possible outcomes. His years of experience and the respect of the surgical staff toward him show he is a great surgeon. I was crippled up with this for 2 years, I am a runner and I live a very active life. This condition created talon like callouses that had to be cut off with scissors multiple times per week and were painful daily. God bless Dr. Tyner for working with the financially challenged. I still have some recovering to do, following Dr. Tyner's instructions and trusting his recommendations have worked out fantastic.
