  I only lived here for a year, and overall, I think it was a good experience. My only real complaint was the issues with power outages. We (meaning whole portions of the complex) lost power upwards of 6 times over the course of my lease. A couple times it was weather related, another time a nearby transformer exploded, but I just thought it was pretty ridiculous. The power was never out more than 36 hours, so it wasn't terribly inconvenient, but they clearly need to secure their power lines better. All in all, say what you want about McKinley being monopolizing profiteers and money hungry, but that was not my experience. The unit was clean, spacious and updated, maintenance was very friendly and quick to respond, and the interactions I had with the leasing office were completely pleasant.

  lived here a few years, community is nice w/ lake guesthouse and friendly staff. Apt however has thin walls and we could hear neighbors tv, walking outside etc. Apt itself started getting rundown with time and so did the inlet roads. always felt safe however and quick access to neighboring community
